Tourist day! Anchored in Cascais and got a taxi over to Sintra to see Quinta de Regaleira.
Lovely gardens, grottos, labyrinths and historic buildings, but also the most tourists we have seen in the last 2 months.
Sailing to Lisbon tomorrow, not for to go before some more touristy looking around.

We were anchored in Sao Jacinto for the past night, popping to land we found an old abandoned shipyard just up the road.
Quite a lot of cool graffiti around, and so much old Portuguese paperwork from the 1950s- 1980s
Lots of time to explore Porto while hiding out from larger NW swell and wind that is coming through.
We said goodbye to @daisyydunn on our first day here but had plenty of time to wander around the city to take in the sights as well as eat some great food before she left.
We made the most of the free port tasting included in our marina stay, opting to try 9 in total!
Tonight we leave the marina before anchoring in the river for some hours to wait for the evening.
We are looking at a weather window from midnight tonight to make our way down to Figueira da Foz for tomorrow afternoon.

Gull-winged down the Spanish coast all the way into Portugal yesterday, finally getting the Ghoster up (another head sail, left in the picture). We switched the courtesy flag just before dropping the Ghoster and turning up into quite a shallow river to drop anchor. We arrived a bit late so we ended up motoring in against 4-5 knts of tide / river flowing out in places, and at times only 1.5 metres beneath the keel. Just left our favourite marina in Vigo for the last time, spotted @sv_bluenote on the way out and have them the bag they left aboard via boathook. We managed to sail for 5 minutes, but there really is no wind out here, just a light haze, quite pretty though.
